A number of apple rumour sites are happily posting that Apple is set to become the biggest producer of PCs in the world in 2012. This is of course only if you include tablet PC sales figures and if Apple can nudge passed the currently top spot which is held by HP. It is interesting to question however that with an increase tablet PC sales where the market is shifting from. And it is likely that due to the pricing of the iPad 2 - consumers are considering and moving away from lower-end windows PCs and mac book computers in favour of the more compact, fun and friendly iPad 2. Apparently Apple is now selling around 7 iPads for every Macbook. Of additional interest; competition in the mobile tablet PC market from the new Kindle Fire and Nook tablet PC are actually helping boost iPad sales due to the increased awareness, favourability of tablet style computer devices. It looks like the iPad is in fashion and will be for good time to come!
