Cool Games You Didn’t Know Were on iPad

Now that game makers have gotten their hands on iPad 2, they have come up with tons of really cool games made specifically as iPad applications.  A lot of these games are basically upgrades of former popular iPad games like Grand Theft Auto or Galaxy on Fire.  However, there are some surprisingly fun iPad games which are only possible thanks to the cool new features of the iPad 2.

I was really surprised to find out that there are iPad applications for Jenga!  You remember that popular party game where you can remove blocks from a stacked, wobbling tower?  While I had my doubts about these iPad apps, it is actually more fun to play Jenga on the iPad 2 than with the real block version.  That is because the iPad 2 uses its gyroscope feature to let you literally get into the game.  You choose which block you want to remove and then start to tug or push it out by moving your tablet left, right, up or down!

While music iPad applications aren’t technically games, they are fun enough to be considered iPad games.  I personally like Garage Band best but there are tons of iPad applications which let you play instruments and record your own music.  In Garage Band, you can even combine instruments like the guitar, keyboard and bass so you can play them all at the same time!  Since one of the iPad 2 features is a built-in microphone, you can even incorporate your own music or voice into the recordings.  Then, the iPad applications let you layer all your masterpieces in a recording studio style and make musical masterpieces.
